The SBS CompactPCI carrier board is ideal for use in high-performance industrial, COTS and telephony systems that require I/O expansion.

The CP-640 accommodates up to two PMCs with front- or rear-panel I/O support in a single 6U CompactPCI slot. The CP-640 is fully compatible with the PICMG 2.0 version 3.0 and PCIMG 2.1 CompactPCI specification.

High Performance and Sophisticated Features
Using the industry-standard Intel 21154 PCI-to-PCI bridge, the CP-640 supports a 64-bit data path at 33/66 MHz for up to 512 MB/s operation. The two PMC sites support bus mastering and are user selectable for 3.3V or 5V PMCs; however, if two PMCs are installed, both cards must support the same selected signal voltage.
