IP-QuadUART-485: (from Dynamic Engineering)
The IP-QuadUART-485 features 4 UARTs with full or half duplex differential IO [RX, TX, CTS, RTS, DTR, DSR]. Two reference oscillators provide 1.5 MHz max and all of the standard baud rates. The quad UART utilized is the 16C854. The quad UART is supported by an advanced IP module interface implemented within a Xilinx FPGA. Write through, multi-byte and pre-read capabilities speed host interaction with the IP-QuadUART-485. When the IP-QuadUART-485 is mounted to a carrier which supports 32 bit operations the effect can be enhanced.
